Terrace Garden at 7th Floor Ulster Mary, Shalimar Township

The client lived in a multi-storey apartment with a wrecked-up roof area allocated to him by the township. He was not enjoying the lifestyle and wanted to connect more with nature. In briefing me the same, I suggested an optimum use of his terrace space and urged him to construct a penthouse with a lush terrace garden. He lives more in the penthouse space now than his apartment downstairs.

The pergola is the main attraction when he enters the terrace. The continuous change in shadow patterns highlights the landscaping and the infinity Gazebo space at the end. Vitrified Wooden tiles add to the element of an adequately scaped deck and the foyer region. Plants including tropical aroids, palms, and several types of vines and ivy were planted to create a jungle-like atmosphere. The space is developing itself now, and it seems as if the terrace has come to life.
